Senior Level Accountant 

SLC Bookkeeping is an outsourced CFO company servicing hundreds of small businesses throughout the United States. We are currently looking for a Senior Level Accountant to join our growing operations team. This is a very high-level accounting position.

SLC Bookkeeping uses a completely paperless business platform to work on clients’ books. As a result, we need individuals who are tech savvy and or used to working in a dual-monitor environment. Excellent time management and organizational skills are essential to keep on top of the work for 30+ clients. Effective communication skills are essential, as you would be constantly working with clients, CPA’s, and team members.

The main job responsibilities of the position include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Forensic accounting is a required skill to succeed in this position
  • Must be fluent with tasks such as reconciling credit card, bank, and loan statements from various financial institutions in QuickBooks Online
  • Provide excellent customer service to every client and problem solving difficult client issues
  • Adding value to clients by providing timely financial reports that meet their unique needs
  • Manage a team of 4-5 bookkeepers that handles 50+ bookkeeping clients on a monthly basis

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • 4-year college degree with preference in business, accounting, or finance
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience working with QuickBooks in a small business environment or with a bookkeeping services company
  • QuickBooks Online experience and certification is a big plus, but not required
  • Experience managing a team

Compensation includes:

  • $40,000 to $45,000 salary
