Herb grew up in greater Seattle area. After working mostly service industry and construction jobs through the better part his 20’s he decided to leave Washington for California and go back to school.

After receiving his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Westminster College and the University of Utah, respectively, he joined a public accounting firm as an Assurance Associate and had the opportunity to learn about a wide variety of companies in multiple industries.
Leanne grew up in the suburbs of Toronto, Canada with a natural affinity for the outdoors. After studying and working as a registered medical laboratory technologist, she turned her attention to co-creating a successful wildlife education organization, where she rescued and worked with everything from cougars to cockatoos.
