The ability to work outside the box and enjoy it

Many people have ideas of what they want to do when they grow up, but when do you actually grow up?  Sometimes the line between interests and hobbies gets blurred when you try to apply it to the 'real world.'  It may go from blurred to disappeared if you sit on it too long.  This might sound a little out of left field, but you actually have to give yourself the opportunity.

It comes back to the question, "What do you want to do when you grow up?"  Some people think they are grown up and give up on those dreams, while other keep those ambitions going.  I have always been impressed by the people I have meet throughout my adventures in life.  Many of these people are out there doing what they love as opposed to living vicariously through others.

Stuck in a job you don't like?  Start thinking about what you love, what you thought you might do, and what you were educuated to do.  It will pay off with some effort. Do you like to hike? Consider a job with the forest service.  Like to watch the food channel? Consider starting a catering business.  Interested in cars?  Work at a gas station.  Like to take photos?  Follow my friend Mike Bachman's travels and learn how to do what you love.  Mike is one of my many friends that is trying to figure out life without giving in to conventional thinking that you have to bang out a Monday through Friday 9-5 job.  His love for skiing, traveling, and photography has led to some pretty cool opportunties.  How did it happen? The simple answer is; he gave himself the opportunity.

What about me you ask? I love numbers, both in a qualitative and quanitative manner.   When used effectively, you can analyze numbers to tell you many things; income, profit, snow totals, bank balances, debt, miles to go on a road trip, interest, days on the river, beers drank, and the list goes on and on.

My love for geeking out on numbers has led to good things, and one of those things is helping business take the worry out of the inaccurate bookkeeping.  If you want to focus on what you love and not worry about the small details of your finances, let me know and I would love to help you out.
